Welcome to the new-look BDCC website
Berkhamsted is ideal business territory - a busy, prosperous market town in the Chiltern Hills in West Hertfordshire.
Berkhamsted and District Chamber of Commerce was re-established in May 1993. For some time, business people in the town, and the surrounding area, had felt that their views were not properly represented, especially to Dacorum Borough Council. Also, decisions and plans affecting the commercial life of Berkhamsted were being made away from the town and without sufficient in-depth consultation.
If your business is in Berkhamsted, you should be in the Chamber of Commerce. You’ll be in good company; the Chamber’s 300 members already represent a broad cross-section of the town’s business community - retail, service, professional and industrial. This is an ideal forum to exchange views and make sure everybody benefits from a thriving and vibrant business community.
