An average of around 40 per meeting have attended representing over 100 different businesses. \nMany Chamber members and non-Chamber guests have forged new relationships and gained new customers. \nHowever\, quaffing champagne at 7.15am in the morning appeals to many but is not always practical for all with business meetings and school runs making early networking difficult. \nSo\, the Chamber is launching the first of its informal networking lunches on Tuesday 12 February\, 1.00pm at The Highwayman\, High Street Berkhamsted. \nThese will be held every other month in between the networking breakfast months. \nThe Chamber has negotiated a fabulous deal comprising: \n\nTwo-course lunch (choices for starter and mains)\nGlass of wine\, beer or soft drink\nCoffee/Tea\nService charge\nCost just £20 (£25 for non-Chamber guests)\n\nPre-orders must be taken by Friday 8 February at the latest. \nWe hope you will join us!

DESCRIPTION:“REAL” NETWORKING IS BACK WITH A BUZZ!\n\n\nAs people begin to put their heads above the parapet\, so the Chamber is back hosting some real networking! \nAt the last Zoom meeting\, 100% of the attendees polled said they would in principle attend a socially distanced outdoor networking event at the Cricket Club on August 19th. So\, that’s what we’re doing! \nThe networking\, the full English breakfast (served at table by new caterers\, Leon Catering) and the talk by author\, speaker and beekeeper\, Meriet Duncan\, entitled\, “The Honourable Honeybee” will all be outside on the verandah of the cricket club. \nIn keeping with Government hospitality guidelines\, we are limiting the event to 30 people but some things don’t change… there will still be champagne to start the morning in style! \nPlease note if the weather is inclement\, we would decamp inside as the Cricket Club can cater for 30 easily with tables (five per table) spaced out. \nWe look forward to a full house\, so don’t delay… book today!

Then refresh the memory and join us on Wednesday 19 May at Berkhamsted Cricket Club for the Chamber’s first “proper” networking event of 2021. At last! \nHospitality can open up indoors on May 17th with tables of six up to a maximum of 30. \nThe plan is to start off outside on the patio for Champagne or Bucks Fizz and then to have a full English breakfast\, also outside\, if possible. \nPlease note if the weather is inclement\, we would decamp inside with tables (maximium 6 per table) socially distanced\, which is allowed under Government guidelines. \nAs we’ve all been starved of conversation\, we’ve decided not to have a speaker on this occasion which will allow people more time to talk.
