Sue is active within the local community: in business networks, as Young Enterprise Adviser and supports initiatives seeking to encourage young people’s creative and entrepreneurial potential. Eight years as Trustee of a specialist college for those with learning and physical disabilities stimulated her enduring interest in identifying accessible progression routes for those disadvantaged by socio-economic factors and/or disability.
Sue’s passions are her grown-up children, dogs, roses and wildlife. Hobbies include long walks, films at the Rex cinema, reading, gardening, travel and enjoying good food and wine with family and friends.
