Susan Lamb

Living in Berkhamsted since 2009, Sue joined the Committee in 2018, with responsibility for education and training.

A trained Psychologist, Sue’s career began in the public sector, including as college and prison OFSTED Inspector, Chief Examiner and Government Adviser before moving into the commercial world, providing executive coaching and project management to blue-chips.

Currently, Sue’s business – The Confidence Psychologist – provides mentoring for clients seeking strategies and tools to improve their confidence in the workplace or their personal relationships.

Sue is active within the local community: in business networks, as Young Enterprise Adviser and supports initiatives seeking to encourage young people’s creative and entrepreneurial potential. Eight years as Trustee of a specialist college for those with learning and physical disabilities stimulated her enduring interest in identifying accessible progression routes for those disadvantaged by socio-economic factors and/or disability.

Sue’s passions are her grown-up children, dogs, roses and wildlife. Hobbies include long walks, films at the Rex cinema, reading, gardening, travel and enjoying good food and wine with family and friends.
