Dear Members,

Finally, there appears to be light at the end of the car parking tunnel, and the new multi storey car park will be open in early 2020, probably February. Berkhamsted Council is speaking to Dacorum about our parking survey and parking charges. The bad news is that the temporary car park in The Moor is still having problems with the weather and has been closed for one third of the time it is meant to be operational.

Tobias Oliver Interiors Ltd

The founder of Tobias Oliver Interiors, Tobias Trigg, an ‘Old Berkhamstedian’, created his first interior design studio in Beaconsfield in 2015. However, he always wanted to run his business from Berkhamsted. In 2019 he found the right location, 83-85 High Street; a handsome old building, built in 1865, for his new showroom and design studio, bringing him back to his roots and family connections.

The showroom opened in July this year and is set out like an opulent apartment, using their own in-house style: seamless elegance with a hint of quirk. It provides access to high-end interior design in Berkhamsted, without the hassle of travelling to the West End. Clients are already coming from much further afield to seek advice and knowledge when planning or undergoing changes to their homes.

In September Tobias Oliver Interiors were nominated as a finalist in the SBID International Interior Design Awards, the most prestigious event in the interior design industry. To achieve this recognition in such a short space of time is testament to the service that Tobias Oliver Interiors has brought to Berkhamsted.
