CORONAVIRUS NETWORKING WEBINAR
Thursday 16th April, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pmFree
“GOVERNMENT HELP FOR BUSINESS – WHERE TO GO AND HOW TO GET IT?”
No need to panic in the Pandemic!
The Chamber is hosting a Zoom networking webinar on Thursday 16 April, 12.30pm and we are offering practical help to local businesses on how to find your way through the myriad of Government measures and packages. We have lined up two experts for you in a Q & A:
Angela Peden: one of the owners of HJP Chartered, a firm of Chartered Accountants that has been based in Berkhamsted since 1990. HJP are experts in tax, all things accounting and nurturing business growth.
Steve Leverton: formed Cornmill Associates in 2007. A former banker, he specialises in business finance and works with clients of all sizes, ranging from sole-traders and start-ups to large corporates.
If you have any questions about Government loans, grants, furloughing, VAT, tax… please submit them to Simon Double at email@example.com by Tuesday 14 April, 9am at the latest. If you wish to protect your anonymity, the name and company attached to the questions will not be given.
Chamber member, Dee Fagg from 3dVA and Simon Double of Solario Racing will be co-hosting the webinar and there will be an opportunity to do your 30-second elevator pitch at the end.
The webinar is free but you do have to register via the Chamber web site, so we know how many people to expect and so you can receive your URL to get into the meeting.
To join, you will have needed to have downloaded Zoom on to your phone, tablet or laptop. Again, this is free. Please see below.
If you’ve not used Zoom before, here’s how to join up:
- Go to: https://zoom.us/support/download
- Zoom should start to download. This depends on your web browser, but on Chrome it should display in the bottom-left.
- The Zoom Installer pop-up-box will open. Wait while it initialises.
- Once it reaches 100%, you are good to go.
We look forward to seeing you.
Stay well and be safe!
