Open Door, Auction Evening, and a Philip Treacy hat!

Thursday 16th May, 2019 @ 7:00 pm

Come and join us for a unique night out at Open Door’s charity Auction of Promises, and help us raise funds for our community space. There are 70 surprising and eclectic, wild and wonderful lots up for grabs with something in the catalogue for everyone and of all purses, so bid yourself a bargain for unforgettable experiences, beautiful arts and crafts by local artists and much, much more. With supper, a bar and a complimentary glass of wine on offer why not get a group of friends together for a table of 8 and have a fantastic evening of excitement, fun and entertainment.

And if you have a very special occasion coming up then you may well need this stunning hat – we are very honoured that Philip Treacy, described by Vogue magazine as “perhaps the greatest living milliner” has donated this fabulous creation for our event. Pictured, the hat is purple and pink and is described as a ‘Low Leonard Trilby in Velour with Velvet Band and Embroidered Flower’. For serious bidders if you would like to view and try the hat please arrange with Lily Donlan on 07970 737807.

Stephen Hearn (Tring Market Auctions and BBC’s ‘Flog It!’} is our guest auctioneer so the evening is guaranteed to be very entertaining.
