Berkhamsted Town Council have notified us of an auction by Elliott of London, (who are also interested in providing a reindeer sculpture for the Festival of Light – they are based just off Shootersway). They are auctioning a work entitled ‘In Safe Hands’ (Sculpture by Charles Elliott). Monies raised will go to NHS and key worker charities. The 65cm sphere sculpture, handcrafted in Elliott’s Hertfordshire studio, “symbolises the love and care presented by our health workers, not only in the NHS but worldwide in all the different sectors”. The auction runs from Friday 17th April at 9.30am and finishes on Friday 1st May at 8pm.
